So I am stating a blogg, because everyone is telling me how cool it is, so we will try it out!
Being Election Day I raced out of work, picked up Rocky and took him to my Dad's house so I could run and vote in peace. On the way to my dads house I was explaining to Rocky how he would stay with my dad for just a couple of minutes while I voted. He belted out so load "I want to go with you to vote for our country!" I started laughing and he said "mommy it is for the President of the United States!" It is amazing how fast he learns things. I am still wondering where he came up with that stuff? Maybe school!

This is Lauren's Dad, Rocky’s Grandfather. Lauren was very thoughtful in letting us take our grandson to vote with us. He filled out his paper ballot just as we did. Note, however, two things about that. There are two of us—Heidi and I—as opposed to only one Lauren, so it was easier for us to care for him while we voted than it would have been for Lauren by herself. I’m proud that my daughter voted and that we could make it easier for her to do that. Secondly, Rocky, standing with Grandma Heidi, filled out his Republican sample ballot, which he received on the way in. It didn’t really help John McCain (I don’t think anything could have), but it seemed to mean a lot to Rocky. Thanks, Lauren. Rocky will make a great American and a Great Republican. The three of us will stem the liberal tide.
