Thanksgiving!!!

So...another year of cooking yummy food and eating till you want to throw up! What a great day. I did it again, cooked everything. I think it was my best year...

Car Crash

So...about 6 months ago Ricardo and I traded cars. I took our very nice honda Ridgeline, totally fully loaded, seatwarmers, NAV, this thing has everything a car can have! Ric took our not so nice Nissan Maxima( which by the way is not a bad car at all.) Well, we no longer have the Maxima, Ricardo was on his way to school and someone pulled right in front of him and well look what happened....

I was at work when I got the call and totally freaked out! I was so nervous as to how bad he was hurt and what not...no worries Ricardo is pretty banged up, with a bad arm but otherwise in good health. Thank you Hevenly Father!!!

A Great Sunday!

Today my mom, step father and brother came into town. We woke up had family breakfast and got ready for church. I really love going to church but I get down sometimes when I see all these big familys taking up a whole pew and I think to myself how much I really want that. Well today I got it, we took up a whole pew in the chapel.

After Church my family had to go back to WV so they left. It has a been a pretty mellow evening, Rocky is down in the play room watching full house and I am doing this while watching Friends...

Do we Love each other

Today Rocky and I went to great harvest and we got some of their apple scrapple bread. On the way in Rocky was talking and telling me some of the stuff that we do together, ie. we always go to Target and toco bell. He was saying how much he likes doing that stuff and we do it because we Love each other. I stopped and knelt down and gave him a hug and kiss. I asked "Rocky, do we love each other?" He put his hand on my leg and said "mommy, we love each other a lot!" we went inside the store and ate our bread.

Things like this I will always remember us doing. it is our little Rocky Mommy time that I cherish so much!

He has also began asking me Mommy do you love me even when I am bad, even when I hit. I always try to say especially when your bad because that is when you need it the most or something like that, but it is hard to do some times...LOL.

Election Day and my new blogg!

So I am stating a blogg, because everyone is telling me how cool it is, so we will try it out!


Being Election Day I raced out of work, picked up Rocky and took him to my Dad's house so I could run and vote in peace. On the way to my dads house I was explaining to Rocky how he would stay with my dad for just a couple of minutes while I voted. He belted out so load "I want to go with you to vote for our country!" I started laughing and he said "mommy it is for the President of the United States!" It is amazing how fast he learns things. I am still wondering where he came up with that stuff? Maybe school!
